Chris Brown
With 23 years in the music industry as a recording and mixing engineer, Chris has worked on over 40 UK chart singles and albums. Chris started his career at Utopia Studios, London in 1987, before moving to the world famous Abbey Road Studios, where he remained for 10 years, progressing to Senior Engineer. He has worked with some of the biggest names in the business, notably Pink Floyd, Paul McCartney, Radiohead, Muse and The Beatles’ Anthology project with Sir George Martin. As well has rock and pop music Chris has a wealth of experience recording orchestras and feature film soundtracks. Composers include Michael Nyman, James Horner and Jerry Goldsmith. He has recorded all the major London and several international orchestras, and has engineered many string overdub sessions, including Massive Attack, Blur and No 1 singles for Eternal and The Spice Girls. Chris left Abbey Road in 1997 to work freelance as a producer and engineer, and also as a composer of music for television and advertising.
Cliff Hewitt
Cliff Hewitt is always on the edge of something new. As a groundbreaking musician in the electronic drum world, Cliff continues to challenge his field by incorporating new technology and staggering levels of musicianship into all of his work. Among the impressive stable of artists that Cliff has worked with are Apollo 440, Jean Michel Jarre and the Pet Shop Boys. An active, groundbreaking, and talented musician, Cliff’s recognition of the value of music has resulted in an established working relationship with Chicken and Mushroom.
Angie Pollock
Angie Pollock is an accomplished composer and session musician. Starting piano at a very young age she was spotted by Terry Hall of the Specials and asked to join his band. Within a short space of time she has become a much sought after musician and composer currently being featured in Peter Gabriel’s band, as a recording and live artist. Angie has a wealth of experience, working with with many artists, bands and producers. Some include Mike Errico, Ian Broudie, Will Gregory, The Lightning Seeds, Brett Anderson, Sophie Ellis-Bexter, Dave Stewart, Shakespeare’s Sister and composing music and songs with producer/writer Richard Evans. Angie has also been an integral part of the very influential band Goldfrapp since 2003. Her experience in working in modern cutting edge popular music gives her a great advantage in bringing something fresh and different to original pieces.
Marcus French
Marcus French is a skillful multi-instrumentalist, inspired composer and a resourceful producer who cut his teeth in the North London scene of the late 90's. His trademark of combining razor edge production with off radar impulses whilst utilising traditional techniques, makes his work a force within it's own. He started his career playing with Kula Shaker when he signed to Boy George's influential record label More Protein. He was a driving force in the Camden scene, working alongside talent such as EMF, Blur, Mike Pelanconi, Primal Scream, Interloper and Inky B. For the last decade Marcus has focused his work with great success composing and producing music for television programmes and commercials, worldwide. His writing credits include Top Gear, Malcolm in the Middle, The One Show, Jamie's School Dinners, MTV, Blue Peter, Sky Sports, Nickelodeon, Sony PlayStation and Kia Motors.
